  Work Details
Jukebox is made up from ambient sound recorded in eight coastal locations around the world. Each of the locations sits on a longitude line and are 45 degrees apart, starting with Greenwich which is on the meridian line at 0 degrees. All the sound was recorded between midday on Friday to midday Saturday, which was the point in the week when 1999 became 2000, and each hour transferred onto a separate CD. The jukebox plays any of the 192 CDs the viewer wishes to select so that they can choose at what point to start listening in and in which place.
