  PARIS was first performed in 1972, the first part of THE TRAVELOGUE SERIES, a musical theater piece on journeys imaginary and real, to places with a unique and formative role in history and our consciousness. PARIS is an evocation of place; the ambiance, inhabitants, and mood of a location. KTCA-TV received the Corporation for Public Broadcasting First Place for Performance Programming for PARIS. The video received an Honorable Mention in the 26th Annual American Film Festival sponsored by the Educational Film Library Association, and was also selected for screening at the International Public Television conference in Belgium.
