  Work Details
action rituelle is an electronic music performance played by the composer on his self-created computer instrument m@ze°2 during a concert at an Austrian cloister church in August 2004. In a state of trance-like meditation, sound worlds from various religious ceremonies are brought into new and unusual relationships: Gregorian chant, dances of the Aboriginal people, Jewish Sufi music, and Hinduistic temple songs are melted together into a global harmonic structure, reconciling the ideologic tensions between those - often hostile - religions.
